Large early cuckoo, 36 inch case is dark and untouched. 30 hour movement runs very strong, has old weights. Large carved eagle, deer and dog, all with glass eyes. Old bone hands, numerals original-some broken. There are a few small blemishes, perhaps 2 acorns missing from top, 1 glass eye missing, a small chip or two, and a few repairs to the old carvings. Certainly for the size and age you would expect several missing or broken pieces. The old wood bird is there, unsigned movement. Has never been cleaned or restored. Would be a nice winter challenge for the cuckoo collector.
