Typical Lenzkirch clock with a lot of bronze ornamentation and wood decorations for which they are noted. Excellent walnut case is 41 inches high and 21 inches wide. Movement is signed "Lenzkirch" with their trademark and serial number No.831891. Double coil gong, strikes bim bam on quarter hours. Dial back is zinc, covered with a brass dial, and cast spandrels in the corners, decorative cover inside the dial ring with name of selling dealer attached. The movement is clean and running. 2 side doors, brass grill. See Rick Ortenburger's book, "Black Forest Clocks", pages 160-197 for almost identical clocks.
