13 inch case has four beveled glasses-no chips and all look like new. Gold gilt frame is slightly tarnished. Applied bronze ornaments and feet. Has a beautiful dial, painted numerals, cherubs, birds, and flowers. Movement is signed "L.Marty", and "Made in France". Live mercury pendulum, clock is running. This is the first French crystal regulator I have seen with a wood top and base. This clock is much better than the picture discloses.
