18 inch metal case with a seated stature, all completely refinished professionally. The case is a nice blue-green, metal ornaments are Verde Bronze or golden antique color. Mythical birds are the end ornaments, and there is a woman's bust on each side of the case. There is a lot of detail work, from her eyes to her toenails. One piece porcelain dial with some minor touchup around the winding arbors. Bronze bezel and sash are outstanding, nice beveled glass. Round 8 day movement with the outside count wheel is identical to the French movements, and strikes a bell on the hours. Complete with a back door and correct pendulum. Ly-American, Volume 2. No.861.
