"Chauncey Jerome, Bristol, Conn", ca 1843. Hollow column Miniature empire style, cornice top, flat base with the triple deck look, full columns. 28 inch rosewood veneer case, beautiful figured graining throughout. 2-3 small chips The 2 upper glasses with original putty, mirror a later addition. Perfect full label, blue paper behind the middle glass on the backboard. Near perfect old zinc dial, signed, "Made by C. Jerome, Bristol, Ct.U.S.A." 30 hour brass movement is also signed the same Correct round weights, pendulum, hands. This is an excellent example of the mini hollow columns and it is running.
