"Charles Stratton, Holden, Mass. 1839." 8 day wood movement with RARE reversed time and strike sides, Group 3. Original wood dial has some poor numeral highlighting. You must have that redone. Strikes an iron bell. Period iron weights, hands, and pendulum. Replaced glasses, full label. 36 inch mahogany veneer case with the Stratton beveled case door that has the full front swinging open, right to left. The case was restored and some good veneer repairs were made. Beveled top and base as well as the door. A very nice looking old clock.
