"Atkins, & Porter, Bristol, Conn", ca 1840-1846. 30 hour miniature, weight shelf clock, a typical brass movement of that period, unsigned, and strikes a coil gong. Period rectangle weights, pendulum, round zinc dial-touched up where flaking occurred, looks good. 95% of label inside, mirror is an old replacement, top glass original with gold outlining the dial. 23 inch mahogany veneer case, round outside edge has had veneer repairs. The door has a beveled edge, good old latch.
