Brewster & Ingrahams round Gothic twin steeple shelf clock, ca 1844-1852.
"Brewster & Ingrahams, Bristol, Conn" Full label, original glasses, great painted zinc dial signed same as the label. 8 day gong strike, running. "Large" brass springs. 20 inch case has a small chip on 2 finials, some old veneer repair, surprisingly good on the rounds. Escutcheon probably replaced, has door lock, no key. Top very good. Ribbed brass movement signed same as the dial and label. This clock was produced 1850-1852 because it is 20 inches high, earlier ones were 19 1/2 inches high.
