Unsigned 2 weight Vienna regulator. 8 day movement strikes hours and half hours on a coil gong. The movement mounts on posts, has no maintaining power, one piece dead beat anchor, runs and strikes strong. Period stick and bob, porcelain beat scale, period brass weights. The two piece porcelain dial has hairlines, and a great set of hands. Large 51 inch walnut case has some awfully nice features and some not so nice. Has very nice molding around the top, good carved capitals and bases on the half columns, super carved base, 3 good glasses. The top molding surely has been off and reglued, it is crooked no less. Should be straightened. A few worm holes on the base and right column. Because of the crooked top, door doesn't close easily. The top and perhaps the finials did not always belong to this clock.
