Dial and movement are signed as above. One piece porcelain dial, blue numerals and chapter ring. Heavy brass dial ring, original matching hands. 8 day movement strikes on a bell. The movement is supported by 4 brass columns. Rack and snail strike count. The movement needs to be serviced before any serious use is contemplated. Unusual 2 piece wood base, designed to swing apart. Why I don't know. Garnier made unusual escapement clocks in the early 1800's. Glass dome may be original to the clock, sitting on the base stands 13 inches high. Not sure about originality of bell and pendulum but they are very adequate. Reference - Several Bulletin articles about Garnier and his escapements.
