The veneer is overall good, except for chips along the bottom band, and an old repair to veneer on the bottom of the door. The minute hand is an old replacement. The original movement is properly signed, and the wooden dial is signed "J. C. Brown". The two grommets for the winding holes are missing but are easily replaced. Both glasses are original with a wonderful tablet of the J. C. Brown house, which still stands across the street from the American Clock and Watch Museum in Bristol, CT A nice label with a picture of the Forestville plant is inside the case. A little veneer work will render this a great 8-day OOG. Height 28.75Ó $200-$300
