The refinished oak case was made for the "Railroad Chronometer Co", Chicago. There is some wear damage to the embossed molding on the lower rigHeight side of the case. Two of the molded corner spandrels are not complete. The paper dial which is mounted on a metal pan has turned dark; note image of unique dial mounting. Also the Railroad Chrono Co. must have provided dial artwork that resulted in a production fluke, as they have a circle printed at 6 o'clock for the winding arbor, which is actually at 6:30. The movement is properly signed and is running. Height 21Ó $200-$300
