Charlie Terwilliger imported a run of 2000 of these, and they have become quite collectible; this one is number 579. The Briggs was an American adaptation of the European "conical pendulum" clock, commonly called a 'rotary pendulum'. The desirable feature of this particular model is the 8-day duration. This timepiece is very good original condition with original glass dome. Height 8Ó $300-$500
