C.1890, French, Marble and Ormolu Portico Clock in generally good condition. The nicely veined white and gray marble is in good condition, and all the original ormolu is intact. The bezel is missing its crystal, but those are readily available. The minute hand sets a bit far out on the cannon pinion and is currently held on with a small wire; it is our belief that the collet for the minute hand simply needs shortening. The fancy porcelain dial is excellent and with signature of the retailer: X RAPHANEL, Paris. It also appears that the original fancy pendulum got lost and someone glued an embossed button to another old pendulum of the proper length.
