C.1829, Silas Hoadley, Plymouth, Conn., 30-hour time/strike/alarm wood movement half column and splat shelf clock.

This is one of Hoadley's "Franklin Clocks" as stated on the label. The case is extra nice with the use of figured mahogany on the doors, original stenciling (a little weak) on the columns and splat and the addition of paw feet. There is a veneer chip near the rigHeight chimney and veneer repair near bottom hinge. The movement is very clean and recently strung. The top side returns are replaced. The bottom "Time is Money" tablet appears to be a proper restoration, putty renewed once and is falling out. All in all, a way above average example. With 3 weights. Height 38Ó $700-$900
