This is a very nice clock in a nickel-plated case. The reverse painted glass dial is perfect, with original fancy hands. The beveled glass in the door is perfect. The chain to hang the clock is original. The French movement is a well made version with exposed brocot escapement and a small pendulum that swings in front of the bottom ornament. Interestingly the Americans copied this very case; New Haven called it the "Chatelaine". A well made and attractive clock, with the bonus that you can "see" the workings of the clock. Height 21Ó $300-$500
