This clock has had a bit of unpleasant restoration. The case has been stripped and refinished, cornice re-veneered, and sides left as clear pine. The pendulum appears to be cut down from a larger one, as the tip that holds the suspension spring is quite crude. The weight is home-made, well done. The movement has a 5-wheel train (winds to the left). Retains original one piece porcelain dial, with cast /engine turned bezel, note there is a chip at the wind hole from using a key too large. Old pulley and hands are well made; top trim is missing; no stabilizers. Last, the clock seems to run about 15 min a day fast, owing mostly to the steel pendulum rod, and the bob is at the bottom of its travel. A Vienna lover could probably give this some TLC. Height 39Ó $1,800-$2,000
