C.1904, Ansonia Clock Co., BACCHANTE, cast figural clock in generally fair condition. The lady long ago lost the index finger on her left hand and the tip of the small finger on the rigHeight hand and other minor losses. The statue was refinished at some time, now with dark brown paint. The clock base is stripped to the spelter, now gone gray, the accent trim with coppering intact. The signed Ansonia movement has a modern platform to replace the original lever; has not been serviced for some time and is sluggish. This is a very uncommon Ansonia figure clock, and despite its problems still has some appeal. Height 25Ó $400-$600
