C.1905, New Haven Clock Co., "Chariot" model thirty-hour novelty timepiece, with restorations.

Very detailed spelter casting of a cherub driving a 2 wheel chariot with clock as cargo, and pulled by two doves in flight; case has no breaks or loss, but has been gold painted. Gilt rope looks good, but replaces a small chain. Press fit bezel is original, but is loose in the case. Dial has a few chips, but are not seen when bezel is in place. Proper style hands would improve this very cute clock immensely. Biggest problem is the absence of combination winder /set stem. Still is a very collectible item in generally good condition. Height 9Ó. $100-$200
