Charlie Terwilliger imported a run of 2000 of these, and they have become quite collectible; this one is number 902. The Briggs was an American adaptation of the European "conical pendulum" clock, commonly called a 'rotary pendulum'. The desirable feature of this particular model is the 8-day duration. This is clock is in outstanding original condition, with its nicely figured walnut base and glass dome. Height 8Ó $275-$375
