There is a prominent vertical dry split in the front of the case, plus vertical splits in the side panels. The original painted dial has a minor chip and a couple of small repairs, but is overall very good. The beautifully made 2-fusee movement originally had gut, but has been restored with brass cable; the rear plate of the movement has delicate geometric border engraving. The clock is clean and running; strikes on a large bell, has hour repeat on a pull cord out the base. A lot of clock for the money. Height 17.75Ó $1,000-$1,500
