This simple Gothic frame with plain engraved and silvered chapter ring is typical of many earlier skeletons. This clock has a lot going for it: 5 spoke wheelwork throughout, well shaped baluster pillars with collets and screws at each end, and finally it retains its original gilt hands. The dial is engraved: J. Rombach, 103 Quadrant, Regent Street. With delicate old dome and walnut base. Height of clock and base 11Ó, with dome 12Ó $1,200-$1,600
