The 72 beat movement on this clock is of exceptional quality, with finely cut gears, highly polished arbors and delicate hands, all accented by a fancy pattern bezel, and all original to the case. For purists, the problem here is that the case has been refinished and when that was done, all of the rosewood graining was removed from the door and cornice. The rosewood veneer caseback and base and still fine. Note 5 point star pulleys. Pend with some small dings. Height 45 $1,750-$2,250
