This is another interesting clock from the Bednarik collection. The dark walnut, double door case is finely detailed, with 3/4 columns on top and contrasting scroll type columns below with varying themes of shingles and swirls; key lock on door intact with key. The case is surmounted by a pair of well carved sea urchins, laying back to back in the center. The quality movement has a square dial, bearing the name Ed. Ginia, Znaim. The pulleys, weights, pendulum and dial center all with matched engraving, however, the gilding has been polished off the weights and pendulum, and they have gone dark. An unusual case style for the collector who likes something a bit different. Height 49Ó $1,500-$2,000
