This is a very beautiful clock with the use of green marble and applied ormolu mountings. The case is in excellent condition with no signs of any damage. The decorative ormolu elements are especially nice. The dial has several very fine hairline cracks, that are visible on close inspection. The silk thread suspension movement has the letter "H" stamped on the back plate. The finely tooled gilt hands are original, as is the embossed and cut pendulum. A fine piece in the Empire style. Height 16.75Ó $2,500-$2,800
