This is a spring clock, geared for 56 hours duration, but most folks would wind it each day. The seat-board mounted movement is beautifully made, from a time when folks looked forward to winding their clocks daily. Has a polished steel pendulum rod, bob with brass front and back, single piece porcelain dial (with some chips around the winding holes, engine turned bezel, and delicate hands. The well figured mahogany case retains some of its original finish, but much has been re-polished. All the wood, lift out panels and doors are original. This is an original, good looking and running clock. Height 42Ó $7,000-$9,000
