This is a very well made clock and the mounts are of the highest quality. There is some lifting of the shell and minor loss that needs attention; a couple of mounts have been re-attached by screws a bit too big. The well made striking movement, with hammer rising to the bell atop the case (behind cupola), has early star shaped spokes for the count wheel. The perfect 13 piece porcelain dial is signed: DUBURGERA, A PARIS. Retains fancy chased and gilded hands and proper silk thread pendulum. Although it would benefit from service, is running and striking. A nice period clock. Height 36Ó $3,500-$5,500
