This is a well made clock, in the style of 50 years earlier. Retains a quality round bell strike movement, signed Mougin, and also with importers "A-1" stamp; running and striking; note "F/S" adjusting rod is missing from the top of the movement (adjustments are made directly on the pendulum). The cast and gilded floral pendulum is accented by 2 swans with their wings extend upward and forming the sides of a lyre. A heavy and impressive clock. Height 19.5Ó $1,500-$2,000
