There is a little loss of the gesso on the bracket and the throat door. The two tablets are replacements (escape of the Constitution);. The signature on the dial looks authentic. The dial appears to have been varnished over. The lead weight is a recent replacement. The movement looks original to the case. The dial is mounted in the case with two L shaped fasteners and two reference pins. The hands look to be a later replacement. Some John Sawin banjos have a unique keystone, however, this clock has a common keystone. Height 40.5Ó $1,500-$2,000
