This well made fusee chronometer is gimbal mounted in a 3-tier mahogany case. The movement is the finest English work of the period, with spotted plates, compensating balance, and detent escapement. The silvered dial is perfect and the beveled crystal is also; hands are original. The mahogany case has a couple of minor scratches, but is in overall very nice condition. The case has a key for the lock. The case, movement, bezel and brass case are all marked 890-N. Certain to attract attention at the estimate we have shown. Height 9.25Ó $1,000-$1,500
