This is a brand new chronometer with the factory test certificate (in Russian). This is a detent, 20-ruby jewel, damascened, 24-karat gold plated movement with diamond end-cap jewel, compensation balance and palladium helical hair spring. The hands are gold-plated. The chronometer has inset second and 56-hour winding indicator. The chronometer includes its outer padded carry case. In making these, the Soviets replicated much of the Hamilton No.21 design. The serial number is 18362. The original factory papers and manual are included. There is also an ad from a catalog that offered this chronometer at a price of $1,750.00. Other than to verify operation, there is no indication this clock has ever been used, however the outer box does have a couple of scrapes. Height 9.50Ó $650-$850
