The well made French movement retains its original lever platform, however the movement would benefit from service. The base of the clock is stamped, S. Smith and Sons, Ltd (London), who were the importers of the movement. The 71/2Ó globe is by The Globe Clock Co, Successors to Sam'l Puckley and Co of London. The globe has some rub spots commensurate with its age, and a paint repair over the Philippines which obliterates the islands completely. We sold this actual globe clock previously as lot 329 in October of 2001, for $3500+. Height 16Ó $3,900-$4,400
