C.1890, French, Patinated Spelter Conical timepiece in good original condition. It appears that the chains have been renewed, yet all the attaching hardware and the suspension are original. The ball, hands and plumb bob are original as well. In this model the movement drives a small tail out the top of the ball, and the entire suspended ball moves around in a circle, traveling in a path the shape of a cone. The movement has a mis-aligned contrate wheel, and wants to stop, however we will have the situation corrected prior to shipment (unless you are positive you want to tackle the job yourself) Height 20.5Ó $6,000-$7,000
