This beautiful little clock has a gilt female dancer on a marble base with ormolu mountings. She is carrying her "tambourine" and with castanets in her hands. The porcelain dial is perfect and the hands are original. The very small jeweled lever movement is marked on the back LR 7559. This clock is pictured in Tardys, La Pendule Francaise, part II, (1975), page 393 in the Empire section. Height 9Ó $1,750-$2,250
