This fancy case has a marble base, cast and chased ormolu feet and insert, and a profusely decorated case, with ribbons and floral sprays, and is surmounted by a pair of love birds. The bezel which holds the movement is actually soldered to the front ribbons, and has an old repair. The miniature platform movement is running. The 2 inch porcelain dial has some fine hairlines, has polychrome floral decorations and finely tooled and gilt hands. Overall a very attractive clock with minor cosmetic problems that can be easily overlooked. Height 9Ó $800-$1,200
