C.1900, French, Grand Sonnerie Carriage clock, as-found, in need of restoration. This once elegant clock has had a hard life. Only the rigt glass is undamaged. The last owner ordered a replacement porcelain dial , and it has not been properly attached to the dial plate. Does have an interesting movement with center seconds (hand is laying loose on dial), and with alarm. Retains bottom cover, but missing retainer screw for cover; 3 position selector lever intact, also original silvered lever platform is intact with good balance staff. Brass base has one corner a little bent. Lots of potential for the patient workman. Height 7Ó $600-$900
