Haas Neveux & Cie, Geneve, circa 1910. Very fine and rare, silver gilt and enamel, eight-day going table timepiece, designed as a temple of love, in original green leather fitted box. C. Double-body with hinged back door, powder blue flinque enamelled and painted with trophies and flowers, the movement on the pediment is flanked by two enamel plaques painted with pastoral scenes, bezel and borders with cast shellfish decoration. It is supported by four Corinthian columns over a figure of Cupid playing the harp and topped by an urn. D. Silver engine-turned with Arabic numerals. Rose-cut diamond set silver hands. M. 19Ó', nickel plated,15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Signed on the dial and case. Dim. 29 x 18 x 11 cm.
