Very fine and rare mahogany two-day marine chronometer with eccentric dial. C. Brass bowl with screwed glazed bezel gimbaled in two-body mahogany box with glazed panel in the top under hinged lid with, brass handles, corner plate for a key, key-lock in front, gimbal ring locked by two swiveling arms locking gimbals and bowl. D. Silvered, hour and minute chapters with Roman numerals set eccentrically at the top, subsidiary seconds at the bottom. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 94 mm, brass, two going barrels wound separately, train under the dial, ogival-shaped platform (N. 36) with spring detent escapement mounted in front of the barrels, bimetallic compensation balance, four mean time adjustment nuts, two temperature screws, escapement jeweled, balance with diamond endstone, helical balance spring without outer curves, lower stud adjustable horizontally and vertically. Signed and numbered on the dial, movement numbered, escapement punched with No. 36, corresponding with in the records.Bowl diam. 10 cm, case 21 x 21 cm.
