Made of Honduras mahogany and overlaid with rosewood. There is carving and ripple molding. The only damage I could find was where a finial had been broken out of its slot and reglued. The damage is only visible from the back side. It really is insignificant. Inside the door is a brass label and a special winding key. In the lower section of the case, behind the door, are shelves. Good door lock, but no key.8 day, balance wheel movement. Dial is brass, with a silver dial ring, signed on the plate, "Winterhalder Germany". The clock is in beautiful condition and runs quite well. Ly-Longcase Clocks & Standing Regulators, No.278.
