Large contemporary Mystery or Swinging Arm clock. Made from designs copied from the early French Mystery clocks. Large 6 inch blue ball, front winding movement runs 15 days and you almost have to beat it to keep it from running. If we have to ship it to you some tinkering may be required. If you aren't accustomed to the swinging arm clocks you wouldn't know that the American swingers have about a 12 inch swing, while the French swingers sometimes only have a 1-2 inch swing. I know one repairman who almost lost his mind trying to get a French swinger to swing 12 inches.It may be hard to believe but these big contemporary clocks are solid brass, the statue stands 30 inches, together with the arm attached is 38 inches high. The female figure has a black coating over the brass to keep it from tarnishing, I assume, but will buff out to any shade you like. I buffed mine to show more brass, less black, looks wonderful.This is a poor mans swinger, anyone can afford one. You will have the $6,000 look of an expensive French Swinger, for a fraction of the cost. My friends can't tell the difference in my antique French swinger from my contemporary swinger.
