8 day solid plate movement, triple wind, 2 enclosed spring barrels and 1 chain fusee. 2 nickel bells on top of movement, string pull cord to adjust number of rings. Strikes quarters, 1 time, 2 times, 3 times, 4 times, on 1 bell, and number of hours on the second bell. It is a strong runner.Silver dial ring, etched and black filled, as are the numerals, numbers, rings, designs,, and the etching for the name on the dial, "Seyffert Regenjjpurg". Brass inner dial with seconds indicator moving back and forth with pendulum swing. Outer dial is cast brass. 2 subsidiary dials; "Strike-Silent", and I assume, "Slow-Fast".18 inch wood case has never been refinished. It is dark from smoke, etc. but red-brown tones showing thru. There are 4 old bun feet.
