23 October 2024
Made in the miniature Empire style, only 28 1/2 inches high, full columns and cornice. A very nice mahogany veneer case, dark and possibly retains the original finish. No veneer repairs and only a few corner nicks that don't warrant attempting to glue on tiny pieces of veneer. All 3 glasses have been replaced. The mirror is old but probably came from a larger piece of mirror glass. Full label in bottom section, blue paper covering the back in the center section.30 hour, OG type movement, signed by Jerome. Runs very well. Weights not original, 2 good door latches. Zinc dial original and signed, same as movement and label. Double pulleys on top of case with boxes around them. One not as old as the other.
