Fine 8 day round movement, No.48N, gong strike, imitation mercury pendulum. The gong base needs to be tightened down in the case. 9 1/4 inch brass case, polished gold body, rich gold pillars, all a little dull and dirty. A good cleaning would be in order. 4 large beveled plate glasses. 1 piece porcelain dial with a painted garland of flowers, very good. Ornate capitals and bases on the grooved columns. Ly-Seth Thomas No.311.
