8 day movement is signed "C.H.", and "Made in France", and stamped with the "Vincenti Medal of 1855". Strikes a hanging gong on the half hours. Live mercury pendulum, clock is running fine. 10 inch brass case should be polished to get the maximum shine from the metal. Fancy porcelain dial with hand painted garland of flowers inside the numerals. The brass bezel also has a ring of ripple beading around the edge as well as other designs. 4 heavy beveled glasses, front is bowed, all good, no chips or breaks.
