Tiffany, New York, bronze and marble clock; movement is signed, "P. Japy".
Black-gray veined marble case is 15 inches high, 12 1/2 inches wide. There are 2 problems, a chip on the top-left side, glued back in place, leaving a tiny chip missing. A piece of marble on the bottom-front was broken, glued back slightly too far to the right, maybe 1/8 th inch. Could be removed and reglued correctly, but I would live with it. 4 marble columns with bronze capitals and bases, bronze ornaments, pineapple finials, angel and serpents, turned feet, ripple trim around the base, and the extraordinary dial, sash, heavy beveled glass, and bezel. The exceptional dial is signed, "Tiffany & Co. New York". Bright finish on all the metal parts. 8 day movement is signed, "P. Japy". Strikes a standing gong, running. This is an outstanding clock. Chips can be repaired.
