"Welch, Spring & Co. Forrestville, CT", per the full label inside the case. This is a rare "Italian" model, like the "Italian No.2", but this case is only 13 1/2 inches high. There are gold half columns, they are good but need cleaning to brighten the gold. Old glasses show a gold eagle, 13 stars, and "E. Plurubus Unum". It is losing the black backing. 30 hour movement, alarms on an iron bell, running real well. Ly-Welch, page 169.
