Runs quietly and keeps excellent time Beautiful 40 inch walnut case. Label in the case says it was, "Mfg. by Alfred F. St. Couer, Cabinet Maker, Cambridge, Mass. 3 19 26". He made the cases and sold them to Sangamo.Fine original reverse painted glasses, a very small amount of touch up to the paintings. Brass eagle, side rails and bezel. Heavy bowed glass, a like new, painted, 7 inch metal dial. A metal plate on the back says, "Sangamo Clock, No.2778, Type A, Style 7042, 110 volts, cycles 60". Refer to Ehrhardt Books 2 and 3 and NAWCC Bulletins for information about Sangamo clocks. They also made the Illinois Railroad Watches.
