8 day, striking half hours on a brass bell. Round French movement, silk thread suspension, outside count wheel. 4 1/2 inch convex porcelain dial is very nice, only one small hairline. Perfect convex glass with machined bezel. The back of the movement is surrounded by the original round wood box, with a wood door. 23 inch high case made of rosewood, covered with beautiful satin inlay. Running very strong, doesn't want to stop.
