A really fine 21 inch mahogany case, brass side rails, gilt eagle, brass bezel. Unusual wood throat cover. Silver dial is excellent, with a convex glass. 8 day, time only movement is running strong. 11 jewel escapement. Small winding key included. This clock is near perfect and is the quality you always expect when you buy Herschede clocks. See Herschede Clocks, page 148. (A reprint of 4 Herschede catalogs in 1991.)
