Possibly the most produced of the Ansonia statues. Used often with the "Don Caesar" on double statue clocks. This one is complete, original, has been painted with a gold-brass colored paint. The case is nice enough to spend a few dollars on to have cleaned and refinished. Case is 22 inches high, 20 inches wide. Back door and pendulum are correct. 8 day movement strikes half hours. 2 piece porcelain dial with open escapement, correct brass hands, beveled glass, French sash, all excellent. Identical in every respect to the clock pictured in Ly-Ansonia No.466.
